Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Laggbot (https://laggbot.xyz), run by Lagg Scripts ("we", "us"). By logging in or adding Laggbot to a Discord server, you agree to them.

1. What Laggbot is

Laggbot hosts Discord bots for virtual trucking companies (VTCs) and other communities. You set the bot up on this website and we run it for you. Free servers use the shared LaggBot bot. Premium servers can connect their own Discord bot.

2. Your account

• You log in with Discord, so you need a Discord account and must follow Discord's Terms of Service (including their minimum age).
• You must have permission to manage any server you add Laggbot to.
• You're responsible for the people you give dashboard access to.
• If you connect your own bot, keep its token secret. We store it encrypted and never show it again.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Laggbot to:

• break the law, Discord's rules, or TruckersMP's rules;
• spam, harass, raid or scam people, or send mass unsolicited messages;
• post illegal, hateful or sexual content involving minors;
• attack, overload or try to break into the service or other people's servers.

We can suspend or remove any server or account that breaks these rules, without notice if it's serious.

4. Premium and payments

• Premium is a subscription per server, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Premium page. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
• Free trials end automatically - you're never charged unless you subscribe.
• Payments aren't refundable, except where the law says they must be (UK consumer law gives you rights that these terms don't take away).
• If Premium ends, Premium features pause. Your settings and data are kept.

5. The service

We work hard to keep Laggbot online, but it's provided "as is". Discord, TruckersMP or our hosting may have outages, and we can't promise the service will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features, and we'll give notice of big changes where we can.

6. Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost data or anything that happens in your Discord server. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

7. Ending

You can stop any time: remove the bot from your server and delete your account on the account page. We may end the service for you if you break these terms.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you on the dashboard about big changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
