Privacy Policy

Lagg Scripts runs Laggbot and is responsible for your data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your Discord account when you log in: your Discord ID, username and avatar. We never see your password or email.
- Server setup: your server's ID and name, its channel and role names (so the dashboard can show dropdowns), and the settings you choose.
- Things the bot stores for your server: convoys, sign-ups, driver stats (distance, jobs, points, XP), deliveries and screenshots, applications, warnings, ticket numbers, birthdays people set, and linked TruckersMP IDs.
- Bot tokens (Premium only), stored encrypted.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We only keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan, never your card details.
- Logs: what the bot did (errors, actions) for troubleshooting, kept briefly.
Messages
To run features like auto-mod, logging, leveling and tickets, the bot reads messages in your server as they happen. We don't keep message content, except: ticket transcripts and message logs are posted into your own Discord channels, and form answers members submit (tickets, applications) are saved so your staff can review them.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it safe and working (legitimate interest), and to handle payments and accounts (contract and legal obligations). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Discord - the bot runs on Discord.
- Stripe - payments.
- TruckersMP - when you use TruckersMP features, we look up public profiles and events.
- Our hosting provider - the server the site runs on.
- Public pages you switch on (calendar, VTC page) are visible to anyone.
How long we keep it
As long as your account or server is on Laggbot. Delete your account and we delete your data straight away. Backups roll over within 14 days.
Your rights
- See and download your data: Account › Download my data.
- Delete it: Account › Delete my account, or remove the bot from your server.
- Correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it: contact us below.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Server members who aren't account holders can ask their server's staff to remove their data, or contact us directly.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Children
Laggbot follows Discord's minimum age. We don't knowingly collect data from children below it.
