🚀 Getting started

Log in with Discord and press Add a server.
Free: press Add LaggBot to my server, pick your server, done. Premium: start the free trial or upgrade on the Premium page - it unlocks on LaggBot straight away. Your own bot is optional (next section).
Answer the Quick setup (4 questions) and welcome messages, tickets, moderation and logs switch on.
Everything else is in the menu on the left. Changes reach Discord within a few seconds - no restarts.
Type /help in your server to see the commands that are switched on.

Let your staff help: Dashboard access (owner only) - add people by Discord ID as Manager (all settings) or Convoy staff (convoys, dispatch, drivers, applications). They log in with their own Discord account.

🤖 Your own bot (optional, Premium)

Premium works fine on LaggBot. If you'd like the bot to show your VTC's own name and picture instead, Premium servers can connect their own bot.

Open the Discord Developer Portal › New Application. The name is the bot's name. Add a picture on General Information.
Bot tab: switch on SERVER MEMBERS INTENT and MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT, save, press Reset Token and copy it.
Dashboard › Settings & own bot › paste the token › Connect my bot.
Press Invite on the Overview page and add it to your server. You can then kick LaggBot.

If Premium ever ends, LaggBot takes over again by itself. Nothing is lost.

🛡️ Convoy control

Convoys › New convoy: meet-up time, server, route, map, driver slot images, call-outs, staff, profile and DLCs. Copy an old one to save time, or Import from TruckersMP.
Set the active convoy, then staff use /cc info, /cc route, /cc slots, /cc slot 3, /cc findslot name, /cc staff.
Call-outs: /1, /2, /3… post each call-out you wrote. Change how many there are in Convoy control settings.
Calendar: a self-updating board in a channel, Discord Events, a public page (/c/your-name) and a subscribe link for phones.
Who can use the commands: pick staff and lead roles in Convoy control.

✅ Sign-ups & attendance

Switch on Attendance, pick a channel, then press Post sign-up on a convoy (or /announce). Members press Going / Maybe / Can't. Reminders go out before the meet-up and attendance counts on driver profiles. /attendance shows who's coming.

🤝 Convoy network

Open a convoy › Invite VTCs › tick the VTCs › send. They get a message in Discord and accept on their dashboard.
Accepted convoys land on their calendar as "attending" and update when you edit yours. You see how many of their drivers signed up.
Your invites: Convoy network. Pick where invites are announced and whether others can invite you in its settings.

📦 Dispatch & job tracking

Drivers log deliveries with /job log (with a screenshot). Staff approve in Discord or on the dashboard. Approved jobs add distance, a job and points.
Company jobs (Dispatch › Company jobs) go on the job board with bonus points and deadlines.
Automatic tracking with Trucky: Dispatch settings › switch on Automatic job tracking › save › copy the Trucky webhook address. In Trucky's VTC Hub go to Company Settings › API › Webhooks, paste it and tick the job events. Paste Trucky's signing secret back on the dashboard.
Jobs we can't match to a member wait on the Dispatch page - pick the driver once and their future jobs match by themselves.
Other trackers can post JSON to the second address (the format is shown on the settings page).

🧑‍✈️ Drivers, ranks & levels

/profile and /leaderboard show distance, jobs, points, convoys and level. Edit anyone's stats on the Drivers page.
Ranks: roles given automatically at a distance / jobs / convoys / points / level you choose. /ranks shows the ladder.
Leveling: XP for chatting (and voice), level-up messages and reward roles. /rank, /xp.

📝 Applications

Write up to 5 questions, pick the staff channel, then post the panel (/application panel) or let people use /apply. Staff press Accept (roles given automatically) or Deny (with a reason they're DM'd). Also on the Applications page.

🌍 TruckersMP

/tmp link links a member's TruckersMP account, /tmp player, /tmp servers and /tmp vtc look things up. Put your VTC ID in the settings to import your TruckersMP events as convoys.

🚚 HaulMP

Driving on HaulMP? Switch on HaulMP and paste your company page (vtc.haulmp.com/…). Members link their name with /haulmp link; it shows on /profile, applications and the Drivers page. /haulmp vtc shares your company page and the live map. Pick HaulMP as the game on a convoy and its posts get a live-map link. Tick HaulMP under Convoy network › Where you drive to show it on the directory. HaulMP has no public API yet, so names aren't verified and nothing is looked up live - that switches on when they release one.

🎫 Tickets & staff groups

Staff groups first: make teams like Support, Recruitment, Event team from roles and/or people.
Ticket types: each one has a button, a team that sees it and gets pinged, its own category and transcript channel, and an optional form (up to 5 questions).
Panels: the message with the buttons. Make several (e.g. Support in #help, Join us in #recruitment). Post with the button on the Tickets page or /ticket panel.
In a ticket: Close (saves a transcript and DMs it to the member), Claim, /ticket add, /ticket remove.

👋 Welcome, verification & role menus

Welcome: message with picture, leave message, DM, and auto-roles for new members.
Verification: new members press a button (or type a code) to get the Verified role. Set @everyone to see only the verify channel. Optional minimum account age stops raids.
Role menus: buttons or dropdowns so people pick their own roles. The bot's role must be above those roles.

🔨 Moderation & logs

/ban /kick /timeout /warn /warnings /purge, with case numbers in your mod log. Warnings can turn into an automatic timeout.
Auto-mod: blocks invites, links (with an allowed list), spam, CAPS, mass mentions and banned words (use * for "starts with").
Logging: deleted/edited messages, joins/leaves, role and nickname changes, voice, channels.

📣 Announcements

Announcements › New announcement: write a message, build an embed (with live preview), add link buttons and a ping, then post now, at a set time, or repeat every day / week / month (e.g. "Convoy tonight!" every Friday). Pause or edit them any time.

💬 Community extras

Polls /poll, suggestions /suggest with voting, birthdays /birthday set.
Server stats: channel names that count members, boosts or show the next convoy.
Temp voice: join a hub channel to get your own voice channel (/voice to manage it).
Sticky messages stay at the bottom of a channel. /afk tells people who ping you that you're away.
Stream alerts: posts when your drivers go live on Twitch or post on YouTube.
Giveaways /giveaway and your own custom commands (Premium).

🌐 VTC page & directory

Switch on your VTC page for a public page with your convoys, stats and leaderboard (/vtc/your-name). Then tick List us in the directory in Convoy network settings to appear on the VTC directory.

⭐ Premium & billing

£3 a month or £30 a year per server. Cancel any time on the Premium page - you keep it until the end of what you paid for.
Every account gets one 14-day free trial. Start it from the Premium page (or the Overview) - no card, no own bot needed.
Invite another VTC with your link from your account: when they go Premium, you both get a free month.
Download or delete all your data on your account page.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Commands don't show up: re-add the bot with the button on Overview (it needs the "applications.commands" permission). Check Server Settings › Integrations hasn't turned them off.
"Missing permission": give the bot's role the permission named in the console on the Overview page, and drag its role above any role it hands out.
Welcome / tickets / logging don't work on your own bot: switch on the two intents (Developer Portal › Bot) and press Restart.
Dropdowns are empty: the bot isn't in your server yet, or no server is picked (Overview).
The console on the Overview page says what the bot is doing and what went wrong. Still stuck? Tell us.
